Echo Yachts’ 120m Trimaran project

Echo Yachts have partnered up with Sorgiovanni Design and One2Three Naval Architects on their latest project, a sleek 120-metre trimaran concept.

The trimaran – or ‘stabilised monohull’ – design is a form the yard are most comfortable working with. The trimaran form is reckoned by many to be better suited to guests who suffer from too much roll and movement in standard monohulls.

This cutting-edge superyacht design aims to make the most of the interior space offered by the trimaran’s broad 20-meter beam. The large and flexible interior volumes offer plentiful accommodation spaces that include a rotating master stateroom section, exterior and interior dining areas for 26 guests, both of which could seat all 26 guests at once, and a large indoor cinema.

There is also a private owner’s entertainment space with swimming pool with counterflow current, Jacuzzi, a fully-appointed gym, and spa.

Two helicopter decks allow guests to arrive in style, with a touch-and-go helipad on the foredeck and a second helipad on the sundeck.

Tender storage is provided in the foredeck, with access via two gull-wing style doors, while the crew quarters allow for a staff of up to 40.

Propulsion options include a hybrid diesel-electric version, and zero-speed stabilizers further add to the feeling of comfort and luxury on board. This 120-meter trimaran concept is design to achieve a top speed of 20 knots and a maximum cruising range of around 5,000 nautical miles.
