The Officina Armare brand is linked to numerous luxury yacht designs, among other high-level projects. Now, it used that experience to create a jaw-dropping private jet interior, officially inspired by yachting.
Officina Armare has completed an interior proposal for a Bombardier Global 6000 private jet designed for a client who wants to experience the fine art of traveling. Drawing inspiration from yacht design, the project accommodates eight passengers, welcoming them into an art deco-inspired environment with mahogany wood panels and precious materials and hues. Luxury amenities complete the residential-like environment that provides comfort unlike any other in the air. Bombardier Global 6000 is fully equipped to provide users with the idea of l setting to conduct business, have fun, or relax.
The design by Officina Armare includes multiple seating areas — a forward lounge with a stowable dining table for up to four and a casual rest area with a coffee table that accommodates up to three passengers. The interior proposal also integrates a bar with stools from Glyn Peter Machin that allows individuals to enjoy their drinks while looking out the window at 41,000 feet. The bar top can be lowered and turned into a multimedia theater that adds more flexibility for entertaining while seated.
Streamlined cream lounge seats with navy nubuck crocodile leather details, each upholstered in fine leather that complements the hand-tufted floor covering and echoes the exterior’s metallic paint. Hermès outfits cabin interiors with its classic luxurious leather, while Loro Piana outfits upholstery on a lounge sofa with soft wool.
The private jet will use the latest state-of-the-art technology for guest comfort and entertainment. The proposal comes equipped with wide-screen televisions, DVD and Blu-Ray players, wireless technologies, hidden devices, ambient lighting to suit the mood on board, and a surround sound system by ALTO Aviation. The entire interior can be controlled using a smartphone app.
The Bombardier Global 6000 is a superior long-range jet with exceptional transpacific capabilities and has a top speed of Mach 0.88, which is 528 mph, 1050 km/h. Its typical cruising speed is 902 km/h (487 mph). It achieves these speeds thanks to dual Rolls-Royce BR710A2-20 turbofan engines.
