10 Six-Figure Side Hustle Ideas

0

A side hustle ensures that you have an additional stream of income. This means higher savings, an emergency fund, and an overall better quality of life. But a side hustle doesn’t have to mean you earn just a few hundred dollars in revenue a month. You can actually pursue a six-figure side hustle and make it significantly bigger than your main income.

Even if you don’t have any problems right now, it’s better to shore up your finances because, as we all know, things can get uncertain. But beyond the monetary benefit, a side hustle also gives you freedom. You don’t have to worry about losing your job or primary income. And if it’s a six-figure side hustle, you can be more relaxed, knowing that a more secure and better future awaits you.

In this article, we share 10 six-figure side hustle ideas that you can start without any major investment and which can reshape your life.

1. Write an e-book

Why worry about being rejected by traditional publishers when you can directly publish your e-book through any of the online marketplaces like Amazon or Gumroad? Pick a niche that you’re interested in, do in-depth research on it, and start writing.

The key to a successful e-book is finding a category that’s not crowded. Once you publish it, you’ll have to market it through social media platforms. There’s no additional cost for copies, and you can sit back and earn up to thousands of dollars a month.

2. Teach an online course

The internet has decentralized and democratized education, and you can make top dollars in it. All you need is interest in a subject, a pair of headsets and a mic, a screen-sharing software, and a platform like Udemy

Remember that you don’t have to be an expert. You only have to distill a subject or skill in an interesting way. If you can add value, you can not only make this into a six-figure side hustle but also become a brand of your own.

3. Start dropshipping

The next in our six-figure side hustle ideas is dropshipping, which has exploded over the last few years. This is where you act as a middleman between a customer and supplier. The best part? You don’t need any investment to start the business.

Put up a website, list your supplier’s inventory, and wait for orders. Once you get an order, collect the money and direct the supplier to ship the order. You can start with a specific category and expand as you see customer interest.

4. Become a paid ad specialist

Hundreds of thousands of companies, especially small and medium-sized businesses, are looking at ways to connect with their customers through digital platforms. But they don’t have the necessary skills to manage their paid digital campaigns, and this is where you come in as a paid ad specialist.

This requires knowledge of internet marketing that you can learn in a few days by getting certified as a Google AdWords Specialist. Find a client through an online marketplace or by directly approaching them and start managing their paid ad campaigns.

5. Start a podcast

Murder mysteries? Gardening? Medieval warfare? Aliens? No matter what your interest is, there’s a successful podcast you can start on the topic. A podcast is one of the most practical six-figure side hustle ideas that you can roll out in a matter of days. There is an audience for every imaginable topic and once you start regularly rolling out content, you’ll find your community.

These self-published talk shows are also a great opportunity for networking and pushing your other side hustles. If your podcast is about East Asian culture, you can create an e-book and encourage your customers to buy it. This multiplies your revenue streams and helps you become an authority on the subject.

6. Create an email newsletter

Email newsletters have made a spectacular comeback over the last few years. Whether it’s Axios or Morning Brew, they have become businesses worth hundreds of millions of dollars. So, what stops you from starting a newsletter on a topic that interests you?

An email newsletter gives you more control of not just the content but also the platform. You won’t be at the mercy of Facebook or Instagram. It’s your community, and you can monetize it in several ways. You can opt for a subscription-based newsletter through Substack or include advertisers to boost your income.

7. Start affiliate marketing

Another six-figure side hustle idea that’s easily scalable is affiliate marketing. Search online and you will find thousands of sellers with great products or services but who are unable to effectively market their business. Your role is to drive traffic to their website and get a commission out of every completed sale.

The key is to find a niche that interests you. That’s because your audience needs to be interested in the product or service you would recommend. If you have a podcast, email newsletter, e-book, or dropshipping store, this allows you to add another stream of income without any major effort.

8. Become an executive coach

Executives and managers are always looking for professional development guidance. As an executive coach, you will be providing them support and personalized leadership advice to advance in their careers and get a better work-life balance.

Start small by building your profile on LinkedIn or other social media platforms. Publish articles that would interest your potential clients. By clubbing it with an email newsletter or ebook, you will be significantly adding to your side hustle revenue.

9. Start consulting

Do you have professional experience in any particular sector? Have you been working with a specific kind of business? If so, you can offer consulting services. For example, if you’re an accountant, you can help small businesses manage their finances. If you’re into digital marketing, you can advise enterprises on how to manage their online campaigns.

This way, whatever knowledge you accrue as part of your day job can be used to start a six-figure side hustle. It doesn’t have to be big. All you need is a paying client to start your business. Importantly, it won’t take much time. Five to six hours a week can be good enough in the initial stages.

10. Become a ghostwriter

Most articles on how to start a side hustle would advise you to become a freelance copywriter. But we’re discussing six-figure side hustle ideas here. Ghostwriting is a viable way to make thousands of dollars if you can write well.

Approach C-Suite leaders in companies or public personalities and present your writing samples including a short ebook, if possible. Along with that, share an idea for a book that you’ll write but get published in their name. If they like your proposal, you can charge thousands of dollars for your efforts. And once you get going, by ghostwriting three to four books a year, you’ll have a six-figure side hustle.

In short

A six-figure side hustle will take time. That’s why you should start one as early as possible. If it doesn’t give the expected returns, you can always club it with others or start something new.

This New 262-Foot Superyacht Was Designed to Look Like a Floating Volcano

0

Design studio M51 has released designs of a 262-footer ice-class superyacht concept named Forge.

The new 262-footer, Forge, was inspired by an active volcano and is designed to look like Mount Vesuvius on the high seas. The vessel’s ice-class steel hull is topped with a pointy pyramid-shaped aluminum superstructure finished in obsidian black, and a collection of angular decks colored bright orange.

Developed with all-weather and climate conditions in mind, Forge’s design is intended to embody the silhouette of a volcano on the water. This is realized by the pyramid-shaped superstructure in obsidian black and sharp angular orange decks.

M51 was created by Anthony Glasson, who spent over ten years as an engineer in the superyacht industry.

The concept features an interior volume of 1,750 GT with a 41-feet beam and an ice-class hull for safe and comfortable cruising in the polar regions. A hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system gives the concept a range of over 5,000 nautical miles – capable of crossing the Atlantic.

The distinctive design allows for vaulted ceilings in the sky lounge and a private panoramic glass ceiling on the upper deck in the master cabin, allowing for guests to stargaze in bed.

The interior features high-quality natural materials with modern, elegant styling to counter the bold exterior. Glasson says the interior has been kept quite simple to counter the bold exterior, but you can expect a range of natural materials and elegant contemporary furnishings throughout.

As you would expect, Forge is brimming with luxury amenities. A fully equipped gym and sauna, as well as a gimbal-mounted sensory deprivation tank, caters to all lifestyle and wellbeing desires, while a large full beam tender/toy garage with port and starboard hull doors has ample space for storing all leisure accessories.

There is also an expansive walk-around bridge deck equipped with a “molten staircase” that leads to a counter-current swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, a sauna, and a day lounge with fold-out balconies. Another highlight is the sensory deprivation tank, which can be a quiet refuge from the outside world. To top it off, there is a helipad for your chopper and a full-beam garage aft to house a full fleet of toys and tenders.

And the price?

The company is keeping the price under wraps, but yachts of equivalent size usually cost a fortune.

The ‘Floating’ Château Artisan Where Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union Married Listed for $19.7 Million

0

The ‘floating’ castle in Florida where Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade had a secret wedding just hit the market for $19.7 million.

Located at 25791 SW 167th Ave, Homestead in Florida (of course, Florida), this opulent home was built over a shimmering freshwater lake. The engineering needed to make it happen was no easy feat—it actually took six years to complete.

Created by renowned Miami architect Charles Sieger, who has occupied the private residence for over a decade alongside his wife. Château Artisan, as it’s referred to, has eight bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, five powder rooms, and a sprawling 20,000 square feet of living space.

Situated on its own 14-acre parcel, Château Artisan has all the comforts of a private oasis—with an added dose of European charm and medieval-style security. There’s only one way to enter and exit this home: down a single road, through a set of heavy metal gates, and over a drawbridge.

Château Artisan

Two diamond-shaped courtyards, one of which houses a black granite pool, are located to the east and west. Stepping stones lead out to two gazebos to the north and south.

Inside, starts with an impressive double-stair foyer. Across its three levels, Château Artisan comprises a formal dining room, a state-of-the-art chef’s kitchen, and a lavish music room. On the north wing is the primary bedroom with 23-foot-high ceilings and an en suite bathroom outfitted with a dressing room island, “midnight” kitchen, and a walk-in Roman tub.

The third floor was designed to resemble the inside of a superyacht, with linen paneling, mahogany accents, and pleather coverings. You’ll also find guest bedrooms and two children’s play lofts. Elsewhere, oenophiles will appreciate the 3,000-bottle wine room. There’s also a dedicated home theater for movie night.

Château Artisan

The grounds are just as ornate as the home’s interior, brimming with fountains, statues, topiaries, two canals, and a lagoon. There’s even an intricate maze that leads to a meditation garden with ruins made from coral rock and a rushing waterfall.

You can expect to see some wildlife, too, as there’s a Japanese koi pond on-site. “This really is the jewel of Miami,” says eXp Realty listing agent Carlos Justo.

Chateau Artisan has been on and off the market for years but is currently asking
$19.7 million. The listing agent is Carlos Justo of EXP Realty.

5 Entrepreneur Stories of Failures and Success

0
.

Entrepreneurs know that failure goes hand in hand with success. It’s rare for one to realize their dreams, goals, and objectives without hitting a few obstacles along the way.

The ability to handle failures is what separates dreamers from achievers. It takes humility, guts, and nerves of steel to brush off a disappointment and get back in the game.

Virtually all legendary entrepreneur stories include pushing through setbacks and hardship that would turn others off. And the bigger the disaster, the better the story.

People still talk about how Thomas Edison, Walt Disney, and Alexander Graham Bell repeatedly failed on the path to success. Want to be inspired by something a little more contemporary?

Here are five entrepreneur failures and success stories.

1.    Michael Hyatt’s Publishing Company Runs Out of Money

Entrepreneur Stories

Michael Hyatt is a wildly successful serial publishing entrepreneur and CEO who once built up a $250 million publishing company.

He’s now a best-selling author, speaker, and the founder of Full Focus: a planning and performance coaching company.

But Michael made a rookie mistake before he achieved all of these wins. He once ran out of cash.

“In 1991, I – along with my business partner – suffered a financial meltdown. We had built a successful publishing company, but our growth outstripped our working capital. We simply ran out of cash.” – Michael Hyatt.

Poor cash flow management is said to be behind 82% of all business failures. It’s something that all entrepreneurs have to get a good grip on.

Michael discovered this the hard way. It would have been easy for him to start throwing blame around, blame the market, or blame his partners. But he persevered, took complete responsibility, and plunged back into the business game.

Years later, Michael’s commitment to personal responsibility and growth through hardships has manifested itself in resounding success.

Michael’s tenacity, focus, and energy brought him and the publishing companies he led through the Great Recession, the shift from print to electronic media, and the shift from traditional marketing to social media made it through the recession.

His latest venture, Full Focus, has been growing over 60%, year over year, for the past 4 years.

Michael Hyatt has a lot to share on leadership development, being vision-driven and focused, and how to stay high-energy throughout your challenges.

Check out his interview with Guy Kawasaki for a taste.

2.    Alex Drysdale’s Crik Nutrition Gets Thrown Off Kickstarter

Entrepreneur Stories
.

Alex Drysdale wants you to swap the whey and pea protein for a serving of crickets. To do that, he first had to get his product manufactured and funded.

Alex is the founder of Crik Nutrition – one of the first cricket-based protein shakes to hit the market. He met one challenge after the other. To begin with, most manufacturers didn’t want to process insects at their factories. Just finding one that would work with him was tough.

Alex spent quite a bit of time getting his product to be commercially viable. He did formula development, market testing, a bit of influencer marketing, and took the product to a few fitness events.

Alex relied on his savings and bootstrapping to get through Crik’s earliest stage. He then turned to Kickstarter to crowdfund more money when Crik was ready to grow. He set up an entire Kickstarter campaign that included media articles to generate attention.

And then Kickstarter canceled him right before the launch date.

Why? Who knows. According to Kickstarter, selling protein powders wasn’t allowed on the platform. And yet, several conventional protein powder campaigns were running at that time.

The real problem had to be the bugs. This was back in 2015 when no one was really selling cricket or insect-based foods. The market wasn’t familiar with it, and other businesses were unwilling to take the risk.

Kickstarter refused to reinstate his campaign and then banned his entire account. Alex had to scramble. He made a last-minute shift and took his fundraising campaign over to Indiegogo. But he still lost traction and momentum.

It took a lot of hustling, phone calls, social media marketing, and personal one-to-one promotion to get the funding he needed.

Getting booted from a crowdfunding website might not seem like the biggest disaster. But it’s something that would throw a lot of people off, especially if there’s an entire marketing campaign built around it.

Not Alex. He had the grit it takes to push through setbacks and disappointments. If you’re introducing a revolutionary new product to the marketplace, you’re going to need a lot of grit yourself.

Crik Nutrition is still around under its new name, Human Improvement. You can find cricket-based protein shakes in vanilla and chocolate. That’s as long as it isn’t sold out.

And Kickstarter has hosted campaigns for at least three insect-based food products since then.

3.    Kate Stillwell’s Jumpstart Insurance Loses $100 Million in Funding

Entrepreneur Stories

Imagine raising the $100 million it takes to fund your innovative new startup. Now imagine having that money slip right out of your fingers… 8 days before you launch.

That’s what happened to Kate Stillwell, founder of Jumpstart Insurance. Jumpstart provides its customers with instant insurance payouts when there are natural disasters.

Insurance is a capital-intensive business. Insurers can’t operate without their own form of insurance – called reinsurance. A partnering reinsurer provides each insurance company with a certain amount of capital reserves to back things up.

Jumpstart needed to have $100 million in capital reserves. Kate found a large insurance company that was willing to partner with her. After 16 months of diligent work, it was time for the reinsurer to sign the final agreement. And that’s when it all fell apart.

It took only one holdout at her partnering company to tank the entire deal. Jumpstart was just too risky for them, and the would-be reinsurer pulled out 8 days before Kate was set to launch.

Kate’s fundamental problem is that she chose to work exclusively with this partner, and she did so without getting a guaranteed funding agreement. Everything rested on that $100 million partnership. Kate now had no capital reserves, no initial funding, no backup plan, and no way to start running.

The worst-case scenario meant closing her startup for good. The best-case scenario meant delaying the launch for months or even years until she could find a new partner.

Kate had to break the news to her family and her team of eight. Then she had to start making layoffs. Kate’s team dwindled from eight to six to two, then zero.

This is where most entrepreneurial stories would end. It would be a story about failing hard, getting wiped out, closing shop, and moving on to something else. For Kate, it’s only one part of her origin story.

She summoned up her inner strength, kept pressing on, and was able to land a new partner within a year.

4.    Kathryn Minshew Loses Control to Her Co-Founders

Entrepreneur Stories

Kathryn Minshew is the CEO and Founder of The Muse – a career development platform and one of Fast Company’s 50 Most Innovative Companies in the World.

Kathryn oozes success. She’s a young, former McKinsey analyst who transitioned into entrepreneurship and made it big.

But The Muse isn’t her first business. Kathryn’s earliest venture as an entrepreneur was PYP Media.

PYP Media was another career-related site. Kathryn worked on the idea while still at McKinsey, then launched it with a co-worker and two other women. Things went fairly well until a simple advertising-related disagreement grew into a conflict that broke down the partnership.

Kathryn had been more focused on PYP’s mission than its legal structure. When things broke down, two of her co-founders were able to seize control of the company and all its assets – including the life savings Kathryn had poured into it.

“I woke up one morning to find my website access, as well as that of [co-founder] Alex and our entire team, shut off. I felt completely humiliated like I had failed them and myself. I also ended up losing the entire life savings I’d put in the company–about $20,000. We could have sued, or we could have started over. We chose the latter.”

It was nasty and rough. Kathryn wasn’t able to get anything back. She walked away from the business with only her ideas, vision, and determination to restart.

Her business wasn’t the name, website, savings, or other assets. It was the passion and purpose behind it. Kathryn chose to pour her energy into a fresh new venture, and The Muse was born.

5.    Mary Clavieres Struggled with Inventory Management in Brief Transitions

Entrepreneur Stories

Mary Clavieres is the founder and CEO of Brief Transitions, a disposable postpartum underwear brand. Mary founded her company after giving birth via C-section and realizing that women couldn’t purchase disposable mesh postpartum underwear in stores.

Hospitals would provide them with a pair during their stay, but they were on their own after that. These much-needed items were considered medical supplies and weren’t sold to consumers in stores.

Mary decided to bring post-partum garments to the consumer market. Her business is a hit now, but getting things running smoothly was tough.

Mary struggled with inventory management and fulfillment. Things like clearing customs in time and making accurate shipping time estimates were tough to handle on her own.

Virtually every eCommerce or physical product entrepreneur has to work through some inventory management challenges – especially once it’s no longer feasible to manage, pack, and fulfill on their own.

Mary made it through her growing pains by automating her processes and finding the right fulfillment center to work with. Automating and outsourcing the menial tasks leaves her with more time and energy to focus on higher-level activities.

Entrepreneur failures and success always go together. Some failures are dramatic, like losing a $100 million partnership. Others are a little more mundane, like getting booted off a platform for no apparent reason. But there are always challenges to get through.

These entrepreneurship stories show how five individuals worked through their obstacles to build winning businesses.

Rolls-Royce Unveils Phantom Series II

0

Rolls-Royce products enjoy an expansive lifetime, ultimately becoming timeless expressions of good taste, beauty, and luxurious perfection. Phantom occupies a unique, pinnacle position in this regard, being revered for its timeless elegance.

The eighth-generation of Phantom was presented in 2017. In creating the new expression, Rolls-Royce designers and engineers have been guided by clients’ requests, who have implored Rolls-Royce not to make any major changes to an already iconic motor car. In answer to these client demands, only the lightest design touches, embellishments, and adaptations have been incorporated. Indeed, it is not about what should be changed but what should be preserved and protected.

A New Expression

The most obvious and important feature to be retained is the Phantom’s commanding presence. This has been further enhanced by a new polished horizontal line between the daytime running lights above the Pantheon Grille. This gives Phantom a new and assertive modernity, reflecting its driver-focused character.

A subtle geometric change to the Pantheon Grille makes the ‘RR’ Badge of Honour and Spirit of Ecstasy mascot more prominent when viewed from the front. The grille itself is now illuminated, a feature debuted and popularised in Ghost. The headlights are graced with intricate laser-cut bezel starlights, creating a visual connection with the Starlight Headliner inside and adding further surprise and delight to Phantom’s night-time presence.

Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II

Phantom’s side profile retains Rolls-Royce’s signature short front and long rear overhang, long wheelbase, and broad c-pillar, the latter giving greater privacy for occupants. The silhouette preserves the elegant key lines running from the Spirit of Ecstasy to the tapering rear tail. The ‘split-belt’ line begins at the front fender and curves gently towards the rear door, emphasizing the car’s long dash-to-axle proportions, before falling gently towards the lantern-like rear lamps. The heavily undercut ‘waft line’ creates a strong shadow, visually signaling the marque’s unequaled ‘Magic Carpet Ride.’

The side profile is further enhanced with a suite of new wheels. A 3D, milled, stainless steel wheel with triangular facets is available to commission in a fully or part-polished finish. Alternatively, the Phantom may be graced with a truly elegant disc wheel, recalling the romance of 1920’s Rolls-Royce motor cars. This disc wheel is produced in both polished stainless steel and black lacquer, perfectly encapsulating the sense of flight on land.

Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II

Responding to Phantom clients who have previously requested a darkened chrome grille surround, black bonnet reins, windscreen surround, and side frame finishers, these may now be commissioned. This aesthetic now enables Rolls-Royce to transform the Phantom into the lightest of light or the darkest of dark appearances.

Phantom’s sumptuous interior remains almost unaltered: the steering wheel has been made slightly thicker, providing a more connected and immediate point of contact for the owner-driver.

Phantom and Phantom Extended have distinct characters of their own, representing two different seats of power. Phantom is now predominantly favored by the ever-increasing number of clients wishing to be in the driving seat themselves. For those preferring to command the road from the rear seat, Phantom Extended offers the definitive super-luxurious chauffeur-driven experience.

“Phantom has always been viewed as the ‘best car in the world: our Bespoke capabilities mean that, for our clients, it can be the best car for their world, too,” said, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II

Rolls-Royce Connected

Now, Phantom includes the debut of ‘Rolls-Royce Connected.’ This enables the owner to send an address directly to the motor car from Whispers, the Rolls-Royce private-members’ Application, providing seamless navigation to an event, restaurant, dealership, or even the Home of Rolls-Royce itself.

‘Rolls-Royce Connected’ also displays the motor car’s location, security status, and current ‘health’ condition on Whispers; at the touch of a button, the owner can contact a preferred dealership for any servicing requirements or information about the car.

The ‘Poles Of Luxury’

As the marque’s pinnacle product, Phantom attracts an elite stratum of Rolls-Royce clients. Established and successful, at the top of their field and often in the public eye, these are determined and demanding people. It is no coincidence that Phantom attracts the most ambitious and challenging Bespoke commissions ever undertaken by Rolls-Royce.

The resulting creations − each an artistic masterpiece in its own right − illustrate a broader truth: since its inception, Phantom has always been whatever the client wants it to be; not only the ‘best car in the world’ but the best car for them and their world.

Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II

Self-evidently, there is no such thing as a ‘typical’ Phantom client. Spanning the ‘poles of luxury’, they may be ever-younger or older, modern or traditional, self-made or from long-established wealth. Their commissions reflect a full spectrum of interests and influences. At one extreme, Phantom takes on a subversive, almost rebellious character – youthful, dynamic and daring. At the other, Phantom transforms into an ode to luxury grandeur and timelessness.

The challenge of the Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective is to accommodate this vast expanse of client characteristics and desires in one pinnacle product. The eighth-generation Phantom has thus been deliberately designed to offer a ‘blank canvas’ for Bespoke personalisation, capable of becoming whatever the client wishes it to be, and a true reflection of their individual style and character.

Phantom’s great strength and appeal is that it allows clients to position themselves anywhere between these ‘poles of luxury’, defining luxury on their own terms. And wherever that point happens to lie, they have the assurance that Phantom itself is − technically, materially, aesthetically and dynamically − still the ‘best car in the world’.

Phantom Platino: The Return Of Fine Textiles

To mark the introduction of Phantom Series II and to illustrate Rolls-Royce’s Bespoke capability, the marque has created a new Bespoke masterpiece, Phantom Platino, named after the silver-white finish of the coveted and precious metal, platinum.

Phantom Platino continues Rolls-Royce’s exploration into fabric interiors, a story which began in 2015 with the launch of Serenity, a truly Bespoke Phantom with a hand-painted, hand-embroidered silk interior. Heralding the next step in this significant journey, Phantom Platino introduces materials other than leather, an area of exploration for Rolls-Royce and a move that demonstrates a greater acceptance of alternative interior upholsteries.

Echoing the marque’s formative days, the front seats of Phantom Platino are finished in fine Rolls-Royce leather, while those in the rear are upholstered in fabric.

The beautiful tone-on-tone of Platino’s interior is achieved by combining two differing fabrics; one created in an Italian mill for its durable yet luxurious appearance, the other derived from bamboo fibres, selected for its lustrous finish.

Both materials share an original repeating pattern based on an abstract interpretation of the Spirit of Ecstasy. In the silken textile, the design is smaller and woven into the fabric to create a more visually stimulating finish. It also appears in Phantom’s Gallery, right in the occupant’s line of sight, and on key touchpoints such as the armrest and centre console. The bamboo fabric is embroidered with larger icons, presenting a tufted appearance commonly found in interior design. This more resilient material is placed on the lower elements of the interior where they will need to withstand most contact.

The same design also appears on Phantom’s dashboard timepiece. The surround is made from a 3D printed ceramic, a truly contemporary execution of a traditional material. Set into an iced finish woodset, the tonal properties of the interior take Phantom to a beautiful and unsurpassed level of opulence.

The largest canvas in Phantom is the Starlight Headliner. In a unique design created especially for Rolls-Royce Platino, the ‘stars’ are placed to draw the eye rearwards, with whimsical shooting stars following the sweeping arc of the pattern.

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, says, “We are acutely conscious of our clients’ esteem for and love of their Phantoms. They felt it could not be improved; but while naturally respecting that view, we believe it is always possible, indeed necessary, to gently go further in our pursuit of absolute perfection.

The subtle changes we have made for the new Phantom Series II have all been minutely considered and meticulously executed. As Sir Henry Royce himself said: ‘Small things make perfection, but perfection is no small thing.”

And at last, one can be inspired by the high functionality of the interior solutions. In general, the whole residential design is about high art.

The Sky Palace

The project reflects a clean architectural interior with elements of grandeur and futurism. Therefore, there are smooth winds, purity of lines, natural light materials, and soft fabrics.

Most of the custom products are made from solid blocks of natural stones and different shades, bronze metal and soft leather add comfort to the space, and special attention is paid to wooden materials.

The Sky Palace

Floor-to-ceiling windows provide a fantastic sense of space and light, seamlessly blending outdoor and indoor living.

Wood walnut paneling in various textures is everywhere, including a unique wood texture that seems to echo the delicate texture of the fabric. The fullness of life here is personified by unity with nature, not only in the use of natural materials: a large amount of greenery throughout the residence, huge terraces with olive trees, a patio with an atrium, and a decorative pond, as well as wave imitation elements on the walls.

7 Must Listen To Podcasts for Startups and Entrepreneurs

0

As a startup founder, it doesn’t come as a surprise if you’re fed up with unsolicited advice from random people in your life. At the other extreme are people who charge you heavily to listen to their two-hour ‘motivational’ speeches.

With all this buzz filling in your ears, entrepreneurs like you need a safe and creative space to explore startup opportunities and theoretically analyze risks. So how can you escape this unwanted balderdash?

By converting to podcast sessions!

Why Choose Podcasts?

There is an ocean of podcasts for startup owners and entrepreneurs. Podcasts are made to fit the mood of their audience and perfectly set a learning environment through their words and tones.

They are free as well as paid: Another quality that makes podcasts considerably more bearable is that there are excellent choices in both free and subscribed streams. Yes, the latter may have a few extra perks, but even with the free ones, you can find hours of content that’s relevant and meaningful.

They are delivered by actual experts: The podcast industry is becoming highly segmented, mainly because podcasts are an easy way for people in one industry to connect with one another. You can send in questions and listen to other’s questions as well.

They are convenient: With your relatives pouring their awful marketing schemes in your ears, you have no other option but to politely nod and shake your head. With a paid lecture on work ethic, you have to sit right till the end to feel sure your money isn’t wasted, even if you do not enjoy the session.

With a podcast, you can listen to whoever you like, whichever topic you like, as much as you like, and whenever you like. You can drive to work with the podcast playing on your phone, or you can listen to one every night after dinner. Easy!

Bootstrapping: How to Market and Advertise on a Tight Budget

0

Times can be challenging with a global pandemic, but if you are an entrepreneur with a good product or service that meets people’s needs and solves their problems, you can still market and advertise well while on a tight budget. You can do this with bootstrap marketing.

Bootstrapping is used in business to refer to using only existing resources when starting or growing your business. Bootstrap marketing involves creating and implementing marketing strategies using only your existing resources, such as your talents, imagination, and creativity, personal savings, existing equipment, social capital, to reach your targeted audiences and customers.

How do you do this?

Essentials of Marketing and Advertising When Bootstrapping

The first three steps below may not sound like advertising when bootstrapping yet, but they are necessary not only for advertising (which is just an aspect of marketing) but for a comprehensive and effective marketing campaign. You cannot do the fourth step effectively if you did not do the first three steps well:

Inventory your capital. Since you will be working with limited resources, you must first know what resources you will be using are. In Economics, there are three kinds of resources: land (all natural resources), labor (all human resources), and capital (all human-made resources). Most people often think only of money when the terms “capital” or even “resources” are mentioned. But, if capital is all human-made resources, that covers not just money but also time, talent, equipment, buildings, and social connections (or social capital). Write your answers down to these questions in a journal to guide you in your inventory: what land, labor, and capital resources do you currently have? For each type of resource, how is their quality, and how much are they? Brainstorm at least five ideas for how you can use these resources better to reach and connect with your target audiences and customers.

Get clear about your brand and your brand offering. Your “brand” is who you are as a person and as a business. It is not just your business colors, cards, logos, website, or even your products or services. These are just the media to communicate your brand, but they are not your brand. If you are not clear about your brand essence, you might have confusing messages in your media communications. You can think of your brand as your energies, your main qualities, what you value as well as the value you offer to others, and what you stand for. Take Kaye Putnam’s brand quiz and study your results to get more clarity on your brand. After you get clearer on your brand, examine how your products and services (or your brand offering) are an extension of your brand as well as a platform for communicating your brand. This is important for you to do effective marketing and advertising in any circumstance, especially when bootstrapping.

Thoroughly understand your customers. Have you done your research on your customer market’s demographics and psychographics? Who are they (age, sex, civil status, location, income level, educational level, occupation)? What are their interests, goals/desires, and challenges/problems? How do your brand and your brand offering meet their interests and desires and help overcome their challenges and solve their problems? With the Internet, it is easier to do your market research on your own now. After you have collected the data, verify these with your existing customers by asking them if the information you have gathered about them and your understanding of them is correct.

Connection is key. This is the part where you come up with and implement the appropriate marketing and advertising strategies when bootstrapping. The main point of all marketing and advertising is to communicate to your customer market who you are (your brand) and what you have to offer (your brand offering). Therefore, you must connect with your customer market in effective, meaningful, and relevant ways. This will help them overcome their challenges and solve their problems at more value for the money they pay you.

This is important to always keep in mind as this is the thread that connects all your marketing and advertising efforts to your customers’ interests, desires, needs, and problems by impressing upon them the value of your brand offering and your brand.

Advertising When Bootstrapping

Here are three recommended basic strategies to market and advertise while bootstrapping:

Start connecting from the ground. Even if your business is mainly online, start with your offline contacts and networks, especially if they form part of your customer market. Join business associations, volunteer at non-profits, talk to people and get your brand offering out there as a potential solution to people’s problems. The people you talk to might not be your potential customers themselves, but they might be connected to your potential customers in some way. You might even want to consider partnering with some businesses that offer different products and services but serve the same customer market as yours in hosting events for your common customer market and their communities.

Build and grow an email list through your website, and provide your email subscribers with value through the content that you provide with email newsletters and freebies or discounts you may offer. The point of an email list is not to sell your products and services outright but, again, to build connection: for your potential customers to know you and trust you and see what you offer as helping them with their needs and problems.

Advertise through social media even without paid advertising. Be strategic in the social media platforms you choose: they have to be the platforms your target customer market themselves actively use. Then, be strategic in the content you post and your social media account design: they all have to support your brand and brand offering and speak to your customers’ deepest interests, desires, needs, and problems.

Initially, a bootstrap was a tab or handle at the back of a tall, tight pair of boots that the wearer pulls to help get their feet into the boots, which was an arduous task. Today, in business and finance, it means achieving success on your own even if you don’t have much money yourself. When done right, marketing and advertising, when bootstrapping, can launch you towards that success.

525-Feet Mega Yacht BLUE Delivered To Owner

Formerly known as Project BLUE, the 525-feet (160-meter) mega yacht BLUE has been delivered to its owner. She left the Lürssen shipyard in Bremen on July 2nd and embarked on her maiden voyage, heading to Malta where she will now enjoy her very first season with her new owners.

First launched in February 2022, the yacht is now the fifth largest yacht in the world in terms of volume.

Terence Disdale has designed both the interior and exterior of the 15,320 GT superyacht, making full use of the yacht’s 72-feet (22.5-meter) beam and generous decks.

The yacht is equipped with a highly efficient Diesel-Electric Hybrid Propulsion Concept developed by Lürssen’s own engineering specialists. The concept combines diesel-propulsion-technology with efficient modern electric propulsion systems.

BLUE’s system consists of two diesel engines that drive two controllable pitch propellers through individual gearboxes. These gearboxes are equipped with PTI/PTO units that can be used for either electric propulsion (slow speeds) or for generating electrical energy to operate the vessel at higher speeds.

BLUE is also equipped with an electric Azimuth Pod Drive, which in electric mode can be used separately, or when the PTI units are engaged, with the two propeller shafts.

In order to generate less noise and vibration and reduce nitrogen oxide levels, the megayacht is equipped with a state-of-the-art exhaust after-treatment system. Furthermore, BLUE’s innovative after-treatment system and wastewater treatment plant are equipped with new membrane technology that allows the treated wastewater to be safely disposed of in “drinking water quality,” according to the yard.

“To execute such a comprehensive project, an excellent team is necessary,” said Lürssen’s managing partner, Peter Lürssen. “We are very proud of BLUE as yet another statement of Lürssen’s ability and desire to build yachts that meet all of our exacting owners’ requirements, guided by our core focus of expert engineering, beautiful design and being a proud market leader in developing sustainable technologies.”

In terms of features, the yacht has a pair of helicopter landing sites; a large helideck at the bow and a smaller helipad aft. Each of the four upper decks features a large al fresco entertaining area and there is a swimming platform connected to a beach club, plus forward stateroom balconies on either side.

Lürssen is a German shipyard with headquarters in Bremen-Vegesack and shipbuilding facilities in Lemwerder, Berne, and Bremen-Aumund. Founded in 1875, Lürssen is one of the world’s leading builders of custom luxury superyachts and has launched many of the largest yachts in the global fleet.
